Yep. I got the info yesterday but you beat me to the punch. With Horne still owning the tower site and having it for sale if the new land owner wants to build something then it gets real expensive to move three towers. They would be better off downgrading it to a non directional and putting up one tower in Blount County to serve the community over there. Other than WBCR there isn't another station for Maryville/Alcoa.

If they were to downgrade, what's the maximum amount of power they'd be allowed without compromising much of their service area? Could they still make a 'go' with the current format? I'm told their transmission quality is pretty good, if so, will that hold as well?

I foresee Meredith doing an LMA, take it "solar" and running a 24 hr. shop and swap with it.

Citadel could buy it. And from that meager beginning, build another empire. It would be a smarter move than that whole ABC thing. And they could go in with Mike Beverly, who not only has the down payment, but a better credit score.

Undisclosed and where are you looking? Whoever placed this is fishing.

I'll drop a line in the water too:

To anyone who's interested, please pull together three hundred million dollars. Put ONLY one million of that into an escrow account for me as a retainer.

Once you have complied with these instructions, I'll call Cumulus and ask if they're interested in selling the old DBC properties for more than they paid for them.

Let's don't tell Johnny Pirkle, though. The last thing we need is a bidding war.
