Is 96.3 Urban Contemporary or CHR/Rhythmic?

I heard this station 2 weeks ago for the first time while in town. I didn't get the impression it was Urban. Seems to be more the so-called CHR/Rhythmic format. Heavy on hip hop that appeals to suburban kids.

I emailed someone @ the station and asked them why they got rid of the morning show (Tom Joyner) (Even though i already know why.......) and he went on and on and emailed me and said "Tell me what we can do to get you to listen" .. Hehehehe,i said "Stop playing that God awefull hip hop trash and i will"

I like R&B and RAP .. I dislike HIP HOP with a passion...... (The worst music to ever come out IMO!!)

We dont have ANY GOOD URBAN stations in upstate NY,its all HIP HOP trash......... (Theres some R&B but its mostly HIP HOP)

It used to be Urban a couple of months ago. Now they are a CHR/Rhythmic.

Try Kiss-FM at 96.1, they could have a shot. It's urban leaning, but I don't see it tweaking the format anytime soon.
