Over the past two weeks, we will be watching a program when the audio just vanishes. Seems like this happens mostly on NBC, but the same thing happened at the very end of "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS Monday night.
It's getting really annoying. Sometimes the audio will drop out when NBC local goes from letterbox to non-letterbox (and when will they ever get that straightened out!?), but other times the audio will just disappear right in the middle of a show.
Directv says that nothing's wrong on their end, but who knows? The problem is both fleeting and intermittent i.e. practically impossible to diagnose and correct!!
