Is Belinda Skelton pregnant?

I'm only an occasional listener to the Neal Boortz show but Neal made some comment this morning that Belinda was out with morning sickness and that listeners could expect her to take maternity leave later on. A few weeks ago I heard him say that she was out because of an ultrasound appointment with the obstetrician. Is Neal just pulling our leg and starting rumors or is Belinda really pregnant? ???

Is it Neal's? ;-)

Be careful her husband is a lawyer and he will sue. Just ask the makers of Crocs.

Speaking of being sued - Stephen Duane Barnes.

What exactly does this topic have to do with Barnes?

The astute poster Big Dave is correct. I erred in saying Clark Meyer, Belinda's husband, is a lawyer. He filed the Crocs lawsuit and I jumped to a wrong conclusion. I regret the error.

As for Mr. Wants to Know, everything is about Stephen Duane Barnes in someway.

I hate it when someone starts a thread like this.

I like awake at night worrying about who is pregnant and who isn't. I don't get enough sleep the way it is and you pile one more question on the load!

She was out with penomena*. Actually had to go to the hospital. Neal says he's had it before and it flat put's you out of action. For a while I thought they were saying "phenomena" which I thought was some weird code phrase for something they didn't want to say on the air.

*Belinda has been razzed for years by Neal and Royal ( :'( ) about her spelling. When Belinda texted that she was sick, she misspelled pneumonia & this is what the result was.

She probably mispronounced it. Or at least sounded as if it was mispronounced.

The advertisers that have her do their voice overs are not doing themselves any favors. I usually flip the channel when she comes on.

I heard that bit. I bet her iPhone autocorrect picked the wrong word.

Belinda has the voice of an angel compared to Sandy Shumate. My radio has developed a mysterious mute problem that ONLY manifests when Sandy Shumate's voice starts to emit from the speakers. That or my ears turn off to save my sanity. I am cool either way.

When did it suddenly become "cool" to have your producer as part of the show? What moronic consultant came up with this concept? Was it Walt Szabo? I was never a huge Glenn Beck fan, but his show has become totally unlistenable while he and his lap-dog producer yuck it up and talk over each other. It wasn't funny the first time I heard it, and it's even less funny today. As for Boortz, it just seems to me that all of the "Belinda blather" wastes a lot of time that could be used for something else. I am sure that Belinda is a lovely human being, but honestly, I couldn't care LESS!

At the N/T station where I worked, the producer was SEEN behind the glass by the host, and NOT HEARD! Sheesh!

Belinda gets the endorsements because there are so many clients in the same category (home security, windows, HVAC, etc)

Some people like Coca-cola, some like 7-Up, some like Dr. Pepper. Not everyone craves the same taste.

So you don't like Belinda. It is obvious that some people do.

So if we could squelch Belinda, what would fill the newly vacated time? More Boortz? There are too many days when the overly acidic Boortz needs to be diluted down with something the balance the Ph level. Royal used to do that pretty well. Belinda does her share of diluting Boortz to the point he can keep some listeners who would otherwise flee the scene.
