Give Rush back to WSJS and give them their ratings back. Maybe that'll convince them to bring Smith Patterson back and have the great local morning show they used to have.
You can chalk up the "Rush Radio" brand to the seemingly endless list of Clear Channel failures. I know they tried that in multiple markets. Raleigh they've rebranded, they had a Rush Radio failure in Boston that they've flipped already and the station isn't talk anymore. The Rush Radio apparently still exists in New Orleans....but I'm sure it's on the verge of re-branding.
Not everyone is in love with Rush Limbaugh....even a lot of Right Wingers, you really alienate people to listen by calling it "Rush" anything. But since Clear Channel pays him 7 billion dollars every year (sarcasm, but what is it, $300 MIL?) I think branding it Rush seems like their trying to justify the means.
