WHYY has announced that they will transition on June 12.

IOW "no HD for most of you!"

Look here
http://www.whyy.org/tv12/dtv_transition.html

WHYY-DT is currently operating with a low signal level making reception difficult or not possible today.

They say "Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience. WHYY-TV 12 analog will continue to be available until that date." ::)

Is anyone getting WWHY-DT 50 consistently? ???

Yep. Clear as a bell up in the Lansdale area. The AMERICAN EXPERIENCE program last evening in HD was amazing as they showed Civil War-era still photographs.

WHYY-DT is received very solidly here in Swarthmore in glorious HD. It is mostly people to the north and east who currently have problems. Reception for them should improve in June when WHYY-DT moves to RF 12.

Here in Hunterdon County NJ WHYY-50 has a lousy signal, even with an outdoor antenna. I get all the others. You know who has the best DTV signal hands down? KYW 26. Fantastic signal, it comes in also with rabbit ears on a hill near Bloomsbury NJ, where no other Philly DTV can decode. WHYY should go to digital on Ch 12 on Feb 17th.
