Is Check Forger Bruce Bond Same Guy Formerly of Mix 95.7

That's about the time he worked afternoons at 95.7. Can' remember if Jim &Melissa Sharp was on mornings or that's when Bo Walker had taken over mornings. Bond was followed by Robb Holloway in afternoons.

yep, i think that's him.Found a gig that payed better than radio, but soon will be doing the jail house rock and a chance to compete in the bonus round.

Just wondering if the Bruce Bond arrested for check forgery is the same one who worked at the former Mix 95.7 in N.O.?

Just wanted to clarify that it is indeed the very same Bruce Bond. Following his brief stint in NOLA, he returned to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (WINK-104) before he was fired once and for all in the late 1990's
(they gave him a transfer to a station they owned in NOLA when he worked for Mix 95.7 following a firestorm in Harrisburg, but brought him back). Following his firing, he briefly worked for a much lesser station in the Harrisburg market (following a non-compete period that the courts eventually backed up), and his show (now a morning show) failed to garner many listeners & was canceled after about a year or so (early 2000's). After that, he got out of the broadcasting business and relocated to New York City & I guess eventually he got into the whole check scam thing. It's hard to feel sorry for anyone that he helped rip off though (he had accomplices in Africa....a hot bed for these scams), as you would have to be a certifiable idiot to fall for those scams! But, I guess he really fell from the bigshot he thought he was when he ruled the airwaves in podunk Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

For those who watch Cash Cab on the Discovery Channel, he was a contestant on there (with some woman who spoke with a foreign accent), and they show re-runs of it everyday on Discovery.....so you might see him (his real name is Bruce Bond.....and he gives his name as Bruce).

Given Bruce's sexual orientation (he's gay for those who were not aware), he might not dislike his incarceration as much as most would.

Forgot to mention that Bruce and his Eastern European friend were some of the worst players in Cash Cab history........they missed all 3 questions and were shown the door.
