Is "Chickenman" anywhere, anywhere?!

Yes, XM ran "The Winged Warrior" for a while on 60's-on-6 for some time, but the question is...are there any stations, anywhere on earth, running "Chickenman" nowadays? Or, "Tooth Fairy?"

OMG Chicken Man ...."he's everywhere , he's everywhere"......too corny for today, compared to "Bob and Tom". bob and tom have a routine call "FruitFly" the Gay Super hero (out of work hairdresser by day..superhero by night").....his superpower is that he can walk real fast in High heels...can you imagine "Chicken Man" vs "FruitFly".

i don't think this is available since as i under stand it was done live at WLS back then....but what about "Peter Fugitive" ???

We ran Chickenman a few years ago. I suspect that it was pre-recorded, even back when it was new. If it was done live, they were smart enough to record it. They syndicated it on lots of stations.

At least a few years ago, you could get licensing through Sandy Orkin (Dick's brother) at the link I provided a couple of posts ago. I think they even sell a "consumer collection" for non-broadcast use. The web site is still up.

Delta, Correction for you.

Chickenman was produced/recorded (NEVER live) by Dick Orkin in the production studio (located in the room adjacent to the broadcast studio) at WCFL, at Marina City, Chicago. It's been syndicated for over 40 years.

It is the same room that produced "the Tooth Fairy," "the capsule countdown" "Preview!" with a 10 second cut of the song that would follow the news, and many other wonderful CFL production pieces.

Orkin is stilll doing commercials. I hear, "The Chicagoland New Car Dealers Asoc" ad on wgn, sometimes using his voice in a clever piece,
and there is also a bank with a very clever ad, about car poolng with a guy (Voiced by Orkin), who has no car. It's great.

Peter Fugitive is the late Art Roberts creation, at WLS.

You're Welcome!
