Is Citadel Boosting KINB-FM's Signal?

105.3's signal has been notoriously dodgy in OKC. The Spy was operating in mono to stretch the coverage as far as possible, and even that was a challenge around the Metro.

For the past two days, though, 105.3 has been a rock-solid STEREO signal across the Metro - even near the airport where I work.

I'm not a techie, but I know enough to know that that kind of marked improvement in coverage and signal strength can't be accomplished without an increase in power.

So what's the frequency, Kenneth?

KINB's signal had improved in my area before Ferris lost the station, though it was still broadcasting mono. I live close by KKWD 104.9, so I figured they had installed filters on 104.9's transmitter. I used to completely lose 105.3 when within 1/2 mile of KKWD, but it had been much better lately.

The KINB signal sounds better now than it ever has, even since its beginning as KLGH. The stereo actually sounds pretty good for such a distant, weak, rimshooter.
