IS Classic Rock better online?

I decided to have some fun and program Classic Rock on my Live 365 station.
I'm tired of Rock Around The Clock and other 50's and 60's oldies.
Now at Live 365 we can get 128 Kbps stream upgrade for free.
But there's a trade off. They lower our lisener slots. I have to convince listeners to buy a Vip membership,
or listen to commercials.
I have been back for a month and i never see a listener on my station!
I'm sure it takes months to build an audience, or am i just dreaming?
I couldn't afford my own Vip membership this month!

We've got one of the most listened to Classic Rock stations on the web. www.181.fm so I'd say ...yes.

Let me suggest that you name your station something like: "180.fm" or better yet ".180.fm" or even ".#180.fm". It'll anger the "181.fm" people.

My all time favorite name used to get a station a high listing on a radio tuner is: ".#001234aardvarkmusic.net".

That was mean, have you ever seen the WM tuner listings? I say "when in rome...."

OK, must say Radio Luxembourg. One of the best classic rock stations and one of the few stations I can listen to on my Android G1.
