IS CLEAR CHANNEL STARTING TO GET NERVOUS?

Dont know if you saw in the TRI this morning, looks like CC is starting to get nervous. They have lost some of their most valuable assets to Tribune and the Mays Boys are trying to play bully.

Here is whats happening. They have ran the radio industry (for the most part) into the ground. Being the largest radio group, you should set an example. Instead, they have done everything but set a good example of how radio should operate.

Now some of their best and smartest people are jumping ship to join Tribune. They see the light at the end of the tunnel. Clear Channel is scared that they are running, because the ship is starting to sink faster now.

If you've never heard the real story behind the Mays boys et. al. Find and read the new book "Right Of The Dial" It's the CC story with no holds barred. Funny and maddening at the same time.

This from a company that makes you sign an agreement stipulating you won't say or print anything bad about them. Why not strike that line in the contract and just not give the employee a reason to complain?

They treat you like they don't want you and when you find someone who DOES, they don't want you to go. They still don't want you themselves, but they don't want you tro go anywhere else either.

This totally is Randy's revenge. When their big suits are jumping ship, CC has to worry. Them suing Tribune is only causing stockholders to really think again about their actions.

San Antonio is acting like a bunch of 4 year olds (wait, I think 4 year olds are smarter).

This is not how to lead radio. This is how radio self destructs, all thanks to the knuckelheads in San Antonio

Randy Michaels is truly one of the most amazing people in radio. Right along with Bruce Reese and Dan Mason. Randy knows how to win, what it takes to win and how to make great radio. CC made a mistake by losing their most valuable asset.

When Randy was running Jacor, it was one of the greatest companies in the entire world!
