I saw a copy of what I take to be the new Sirius brochure at a Best Buy store today and noticed no reference either to Fox News or to CNN Headline News. It simply says, "133 NEWS."
I wondered if that meant Sirius was somehow hedging its bets or leaving open the possibility of putting another news stream in the 133 slot in the future?
Of course, writing this, it occurs to me that perhaps the brochure was produced in a "grey area" period in which it had decided to eliminate Fox News but hadn't made a final decision what to replace it with, or wasn't ready to make an announcement.
Personally, BTW, I feel CNN Headline News is a good addition to the Sirius lineup. Granted, remarks such as "look at that footage" don't necessarily translate well to radio, unless perhaps the listener uses his or her imagination. But I think Sirius ought to have a continuous domestic headline service and, IMHO, CNN Headline News covers that. I was a bit disappointed when Sirius replaced CNN Headline News with CNN around the time of the Nov. 2004 Presidential election -- not that I dislike CNN, far from it, I just thought Sirius would do well to have both. And now it does.
