Is Crash Clark fired from 99x?

Or it came off of Replay Radio on my computer. I compressed edited and compressed it using Audacity. Since January, I've been blogging about TJ&L on my website 99XWatch.org. I record their show every morning. When the speculation started flying here and on www.FredToucher.com that Crash and been fired, I reserved the SaveCrash.org domain, used a weblog that I had configured for another purpose, and grabbed the bit from Monday morning. Toucher announced it Thursday morning at 7am. I posted about SaveCrash.org on Radio Talk and FredToucher.com at about 8:00am.

I'm 99% sure it's not a hoax.

1) They wouldn't have gagged both TJ&L and TBS. Neither show has talked about it.
2) Crash has proven in previous April Fools bits (e.g. Clark Howard boxing) that he is terrible actor.
3) They just had a Toucher getting fired birthday joke. I doubt they would go back to the well so soon.

Of course it's possible I've been played. It wouldn't be the first time.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day</P>

Unless they get the person's DL, they can't really verify the ID. I mean, I could tell them my name is Fred Turdburglar and unless they ask for ID I walk away with a prize as Fred Turdburglar.

I don't understand how people like this get in radio and "make it." o_O Whatever happened to the guys who do this because they love it and are so dedicated they make every effort possible to do the station right?
