When I listen to Internet Dance Stations, all I hear is Trancy dance music.
Sounds like one long electronic machine.
Is that what dance music is all about today???
If it is, it is gonna be difficult to get radio airplay.

No. Trance does however does fall under the genre of dance but dance is much broader.
Take a listen to what is probably this country's best dance station out of Seattle to see what a dance station sounds like. Party 105 out on Long Island is another great example but they don't stream.

Or you can visit my coalition myspace page. We have the C-89.5 stream up but you can look at the many people that have joined. We have freestyle, house, club and yes, trance artists on board. And on C-89.5, you can hear another genre that really doesn't get much airplay here but to fans of the genre...they are fanatic about it. It happens to be drum and bass.
