Is this the same Philippe- Horte - Bruce McCrae - Cheeks that caused WHJJ ratings to go from 9s to 3s. Remember Hackitt and Cheeks, Cheeks and Dilulio?? On more than one occassion Rudy has called himself a Marxist. Is Brenstein getting lazy?? Do you let failures of talk radio like Cheeks, Mertz, Brien, Dave Kane, ( Sunday show) soil the PRO airwaves????!! HJJ commited suicide, we all know that, but by Brenstein bringing on these clowns and fools, Brenstein sets up PRO for a big fall. The demographics show over 70% of PRO listeners lean conservative. Cheeks did major permenant harm to talk at WHJJ. Is Brenstein even aware of this? Or could this be the brain child of WPROs resident cancer Ron StPerrie?? If WHJJ ever decides to give up AirAmerica and go with a couple of serious hard hitters,,, well, lets just say Brenstein is taking a BIG gamble here...

the worst and most painful part of wpro is listening to lori johnson do a newscast. it may not even be that she is all that bad just that the other newscasters are really good but she continually throws in needless commentary and terrible one-liners. maybe keeping her on the street and off the desk could result in a better drive to work.

I would love to see a study cited proving that 70% of WPRO listeners are conservative, especially in a state like Rhode Island, which gave John Kerry his second highest statewide percentage in the 2004 election. Those who have non-conservative views have the right to be heard. Remember, radio stations hold licenses that allow them to serve the "public interest," and merely allowing one point of view to be heard (which is what WPRO does 99% of the time anyway) in fact violates the very core principles of democracy that we should embrace on Independence Day.

I agree too but sometimes sincere intelligent analysis is mistaken for mindless frustration. As far as Dave and Rudy, once a name.....always a threat.
