Is David Lee Roth the new Joe Walsh?

Their is a belief especially at Infinity Broadcasting that anybody can do radio however the end result does not always work.

What track record overall does David Lee Roth have when it comes to doing radio and holding an audience for many hours?

If you wonder what the title of this thread means: a number of years ago, Joe Walsh did a show on Friday nights on K-Rock. It was bad and ultimately failed. This has happened with many that thought they could do it without working in other markets before going on the air in New York. Is David Lee Roth the next example where this will not work?

If I remember the story correctly, Joe Walsh failed because he failed to show up some or most of the time.
