Is Eastern Shore's Sam "Jack"?

Just noticed that the website for the Maryland & Virginia Eastern Shore's Bay Country 97.9 WBEY (which has been simulcast with 106.5) shows that 106.5 is now "Sam". I hadn't seen anything about this before - to anyone in the area, is this a "variety hits" station, and is it locally-produced or satellite-fed?

Any station that promotes a "we play anything we want" format (thanks vartv.com) is a step in the right direction. Wish 'em luck....<P ID="signature">______________

After I posted this earlier in the week, the story is now posted on VARTV - sounds like it is a "we play everything" format, and the move of Bay Country to 97.9 ended their need for a simulcast.
