Is Howie trying to get fired?

(when WRKO changed its pattern just now I could clearly hear WCBM from Baltimore; a newscast
referring to "Gov. O'Malley" and "Maryland" came through...unless WINR does news at bottom of hr?
 
i listened to howie today for the first time since he came back. he was still the same...mexicans and liberals are going to be the death of us all...

i have three small observations:

1. he sound completely unenthusiastic reading any wrko-related promo.
2. he made another snide remark about the weakness of the signal after sunset.
3. there are way, way, way too many sound effects and sound bites. it is really annoying. it is worse than weei in that regard.
 
Actually I like the sound effects and some folks on the Free Republic "ping" list for Howie do too. But yes,
he's making it clear he's not happy being back at 'RKO though I'm sure he's at least partially happy
for the salary.
Snide remark? It is true that 'RKO's signal suffers in some areas after sunset BUT they brought WCRN
back into the fold as a Howie affiliate. It helps.
