Is iHeart testing the waters for a Rhythmic AC station in Philly?

It’s a generational thing. 90’s and 2000’s young adults had dance clubs and raves. Today’s generation has tattoos, beards and Biergartens. I prefer the former but that’s just me.
Hey, with raves on the decline, at least consumption of ecstasy and similar substances is on the decline as well.

This isn’t new among CHRs currently. Lots of good analysis out there about the reasons, and some that have gone full on with a mix of throwbacks and new. Q may not be going that direction, but to see them dip a little more into the past isn’t surprising in and of itself. Doubtful there’s some deeper thing going on.
Maybe it’s cause it works. However I think Channel 95.5 has always leaned rhythmic since Detroit’s artists are known to do hip hop like Eminem. It’s one of the top stations in Detroit so I think they will keep their current format formula.
