Is it April Fool's day Friday at kfi? What's with all host swaps!?!?

Tomorrow (Fri., May 10th): Conway in for Handel. Handel in for Conway.

Will Handel say ding dong?
Will Conway say you have absolutely no case?
Can Steckler wake up that early?

What in the heck is Robin thinking!?!?!?

It's a publicity stunt, nothing more.
And the part of your quote I've bolded I'm almost betting will become a "bit". Steckler will come in at his normal time in the evening and go on a tirade that no one let him in on the swap. Bank on it.

Oh geez! What the "h!?" Why!?!?

KABC should be doing this with!

Every time I tune into KABC, I get the feeling they're not even trying any more. None of the hosts are on their game, some of the transitions have been really bad and the whole station feels cluttered and unfocussed. Does Mark Levin even acknowledge that he HAS a west coast audience? (I know, he is on KABC, so he really doesn't...) He sounds like he is a million miles away. I know John Philips gets a lot of jazz on this site, but I got the idea he was the only one putting in his full effort - and now he is gone.

And then you have Lew Dickey saying that their political talk radio stations have "been a challenge for us". When you put Geraldo up against Rush Limbaugh, you are definitely going to have some challenges. Multiply that type of thinking over the whole day, and you don't have a challenge, you have a disaster. The station has been referred to as the Titantic so many times on this board by myself and others, it has become cliche, so I won't do it again now.

Why do you write "all host swaps", like there's more than one? And what's with ending your questions with multiple "?!"'s?

As for the actual topic, it's a radio stunt, you've never heard of one of those? And finally, Steckler won't be getting up that early because he won't be on with Conway. Way to be on top of things as always, Bug.

It is not fair to attack Bug just because you think he's not "on top of things." By the way, since we're talking about KFI, why weren't Lohman & Barkley on today?

It was odd to hear Aaron Bender and not Gary Hoffmann doing the news this morning. Is Robin Bertolucci trying to see if Conway, by replacing Bill Handel for one morning, can gain some new listeners to his evening show?
