Is it hot where you are?

- KT'R must be at the crossroads wondering how not to take listener calls when The Supremes rule on 10~Seventy and ObamaCare. There's no way their talkmeisters can yuk it up among themselves or interview each other on these two hot topics.

- Anyone notice Joe Adams hasn't been in the Van Buren building for some time now? Bob Bennett and his mustache are handling AMD.

- The Old Gringo must know something about Lumberyard 14~Forty that Gumpdusky doesn't. The new Nautel performs flawlessly as catfish has cleaned up the audio and bumped up the mod level. Even the O.G. thinks Ponderosa Lumber is in the East Valley. Jeez!

- Eva 95~Five blows. But now the CC suits are looking at how crappy 92~Three is performing and wondering why they should put KFWhyEye on FM. Can't blame 'em.

- Dave Pratt. Who?

- Remind me to ask Nurse Jeff to pick up a couple cans of R-22 on his next trip to Rocky Point. The Gremlin's A/C is running a tad toasty these days.

Now if only that new Nautel could be pursueded to output a few more measly kilowhoppers so the signal could reach a few miles south of the 360, er I mean 60.

No argument there.

Putting R-22 into a car's A/C would render it very cantankerous. Sort of like the Gremlin's driver. If you can find and afford it you need to use R-12. Last I looked a pound of R-12 made a Porterhouse at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse look very inexpensive. Say "thank you" to the EPA.

It is still licensed to Scottsdale?
Scottsdale is still East Valley?
The transmitter is across the road from that trailer park and the golf course, north of Van Buren?

Now that night lights are all LED lamps, they can say that they are about 100 times more powerful at night than a night light!

I'm not Dave Pratt.

Joe Adams has serious back trouble that prevents him from working. He hopes to be back on KFYI as soon as possible. Say a prayer for Joe, one of the really good guys!

I haven't been on this site in quite a while. I have missed your knowledgeable comments.
There are a number of others I have missed. I'll just go through some of the pages, see what Michael Haggerty and you have to say about stuff and go back to my cave.

R-22 is used in older home A/C units. It has been replaced in newer units by R-410. You cannot use R-410 in an R22 system.

R-12 is used in older mobile applications (cars, etc.). Newer cars use R-134a. There are some advertised replacements for R-12 on the 'Net but I cannot personally attest to their functionality or EPA status.

Hasn't someone, a museum owner perhaps, made you a offer you can't refuse to take that Gremlin off the road?

;D Phoenix is always HOT, and it's a DRY HEAT!!!! Wake Up, AMERICA!!!!!!!!!

Well.....not always, and it is relative.

90F in the Midwest is miserable. Here it is great. 110F....not so much.

We basically have two miserable months per year and we're right in the middle of them now. Soon it will dry out then it will cool off and we'll be in heaven until next summer. ;D
