Is it just me?

I have a sinking feeling that 106.9 The Eagle has flown its better flights. It seems ike thir playlist is shrinking. Rok 99 and the Eagle inwar, I fear that wllbe curtains fo Eagle if something isn

My first visit in ages to the big ol' salty ham was a few weeks ago and I have to agree… Rock 99 sounded a lot fresher than I remember, although they weren't playing any music I personally like. The Eagle sounded exactly as it did four years ago when I moved out of Birmingham, lol.

"Birmingham's New 106-9, The Eagle"... :D

Their playlist is way too narrow. My 13 year old son loves the "Eagle" and listens to it religiously. He has it on in his room 24 hours a day. Many times I'll hear the same songs over and over, just hours apart. How anyone could listen to that on a regular basis is beyond me...

when i was 13, i did the same thing to rock 99. it'll pass. trust me. i haven't listened to it in 10 years....

That format change happened, when, October of '05? So, we're over 5 years now, and still "new". Has anyone ever done anything to that station except generate a music log since it signed on?

Same thing in Atlanta (Jan. '06) with 97.1 The River (or "the NEW 97-1 The River") - both stations owned by Cox. :p
