Is it "live" or satellite??

I've been curious about the recent flip at 1570 WVTL. Have they changed ownership? It appeared that during their stint playing the "beautiful music", that they weren't selling much ad-time. However, their sister station(s) 1480 WADR & 1550 WUTQ are STILL on the "beautiful" format.

In any event, on the new format, it has all the earmarks of being satellite-fed. (liners, lots of national ads, etc...) But when they give the weather forecast, they'll say, (paraphrasing; right now it's 33 at the new 104.7 and 1570 WVTL (with a song intro rolling..) and here's (such & such). If it's from the bird... how do they do that? Or can they just tape the forecast knowing what song it'll play over? I've just never heard that done before. If it's not live, it certainly gives the impression it is.

One more thing.............

I wonder what the new owner of WIZR 930 is going to do when he takes command of the station??????????????????? ???

Interesting obsevation . CC's WHP in Harrisburgh has the temp pre-recorded during hours of automation . Only station I've ever heard that used.

idk because they also do live news stuff and community events at about 10 of every hour I have heard. Not sure whats up sounds local
