Is it true?

Is it really so? KMCQ finally has there audio fixed! Stereo has a noticeable slant to the left now. Also, congrats to Will Johnson for landing a gig at 100.7 fm. Unfortunately, I don't think your voice agrees with the station's processing.

What does that mean? Fixed? But a noticeable slant to the left??

I think it means that they will be vying for the content of the former KPTK

Randy, apparently you haven't listened to KMCQ much over the last couple of years, they have sounded muffled for the longest time.

The audio quality has really deteriorated under Ohana's watch. The volume on the right channel is 3-6dB lower than the left, and there is noticable hiss and distortion. I've been listening to www.vinylradionw.com instead. Their audio quality is even better than satellite radio.

That is what I was talking about on the stereo, I think that's new in the last couple weeks. I can't tell if the hiss is because of the signal being weaker than the others or if it is the processing, I do know that KCMS has had an absolutely terrible signal the last 24 hours or so, they come in fine on most radios, but on the one in my bedroom it is pretty much inaudible through the static while other stations from that antenna come in fine.

I can "see" the Cougar Mountain farm from my house, so I don't think Q's issue is signal strength. I think Ohana is being hosed by Queen Cities Broadcasting who has yet to deliver on their promises to replace the old processor. The equipment they are using is on its final legs (hard drives, processors etc. that were acquired from another failed station. )
