Is Jen Hobby getting divorced?

I notice that she never talks about her husband at all anymore. Just wondering what was going on. I do remember one time her mentioning things "going on at home" but I dont remember what she was referring to.

Call the Bert Show and ask her live.
 
I've wondered the same thing. She doesn't mention Ryan anymore and has referred to "personal stuff" bothering her, but hasn't said more than that. I think that this might be one case where the show breaks its "we're always open & honest" policy, in order to allow her to keep it a private matter. Also, I think she still hosts a TV show called, "Get Married." So, maybe she is just keeping it quiet.
 
Yes, it is my understanding that she "announced" it this morning. How sad for anyone, it has got to be tough when your life is open to listeners and you just want to be left alone.

How sad when she cheats on her husband and expects everyone to feel sorry for her. Boo hoo! Grow up drama queen.
 
How do you know she cheated? Was it with southside Steve? They did stop their originasl version of rock of Steve a few weeks ago. LOL
 
How do you know she cheated? Pretty interesting she announced it this morning...of course I missed it. LOL I just heard a little bit when Tyler Perry called in.
 
I don't think she wants everyone to feel sorry for her. She did not go into any details, cried on the air, and said she wouldn't comment further because there are two sides to the story and she was "the only one with a microphone." No matter what the details might be, going through that on the air can't be easy.
 
I don't personally know or her husband, so I don't know if either cheated and am suprised someone even brought it up. I heard speculation a few weeks ago, but until today had not heard confirmation. Divorce is not easy, no matter what the situation or circumstances.
 
You're right. It's so hard on so many different levels. I don't know if she cheated or not, but I used to work with her at the Beat in 2001 and as far as I'm concerned, she's a class act right down the line. Sidechick's description of what transpired on-air and how Jen conducted herself does nothing but confirm my opinion of her. Nothing is all black or all white..it's all just shades of grey.
 
What kind of nonsense is this? Leave Jen alone. She deserves her privacy and in no way should any of this enter into the public discussion. Unlike the vast majority of you, I had the fortunate experience of ACTUALLY WORKING WITH HER, back when she was at 955thebeat, and let me tell you: she is intelligent, way smart, funny, and also beautiful. Setting that aside, she IN NO way deserves this kind of discourse, and if you're not happy about my opinion, tell ME. I'm happy to be the bad guy here. C'mon, guys, give her a break. This isn't about radio, it's pure prurient nonsense, and you're all better than that. Leave her alone. Please.
 
Actually, I just re-read some of this nonsense from people who have no idea what they're talking about. And I mean radio, not Jen Hobby. But, speaking of Jen Hobby: anyone saying anything/speculating/whatever, you need to deal with ME. Personally, and I don't really know Jen other than to say hi. This REALLY MAKES ME FURIOUS. This woman had done NOTHING but try to be a positive influence on the Atlanta radio scene; she's a class act, and how ANY of you could conjecture in ANY way about anything involved with her is astonishing. Re-examine your own life, please, and if you can cast the first stone, fire away.

Umm, I agree she's a class act and comes across as a decent person, and I believe you when you say she all the other good things about her, but to say this isn't about radio or shouldn't be discussed on a radio message board is ridiculous. Let me remind you that the only reason we're talking about it is because SHE (a member of one of the biggest morning shows in the city) disclosed it herself this morning ON THE RADIO. Yes, she deserves respect, but when you put your life on display, as she and the others on the show have chosen to do, you sometimes have to take the bad with the good.
 
What nonsense? No one has said anything negative about her except for one person. and I have to disagree that it is open for public discussion because she is a public figure and spoke about it - publicly. I dont think anyone has done anything except offer their apologies for her having to go through this.
