At the very least, it's probably about 8 seconds off for the IBOC HD Radio delay. If they have a delay in line, that could add another 10 seconds or more to it.brian65 said:Just curious. I guess there's lots of other places to get the exact time but I just wondered about this one.

TANKSBACK said:Hi, this is Jim Scott for the all new Jim Scott digital sundial. Just place it on your patio, look out the sliding glass door at 7 a.m. and you'll know exactly what time it without having to listen to my silly time check feature! Who needs an atomic clock from the Naval Observatory when GOD himself can SHOW you the exact time on my new digital sundial. I'll be at "Sight and Sound" this Saturday from noon 'til 3, Jim Scott digital sundial time, and will personally autograph your new timepiece. Distributed by Bull-ova.
With apologies to Jim Scott, The Big One, and all former "Sight and Sound" employees.

The beep came at about 2 seconds after 7, making it 2 seconds slow in this case. The clock isn't a real high quality one so I'm not sure how often it 'resets' itself, so that's pretty good.
So, thumbs up WLW for keeping the time check going.
You probably wouldn't really appreciate it until it was gone.
