Is John McQueen still at Diva?

Someone had called me the other day stating that John McQueen's name hadn't been mentioned on Diva 92.3's morning show in the past couple of days, is he still with the station?

Look at the diva staff part of their website. He's still listed but he could be on vacation or they just haven't updated the site.

Johnny Mac is a good guy who is very devoted and works hard. Maybe you don't like his formats, but he's a good person and works well with others.
 
I think he is gone. They now have Marc Preston in the morning. Suprised Diva got him, thought he was in Dallas. But for those of you who dont remember him, he did afternoons at Mix 1041.

so could this mean a flip to full blown chr on 92.3??
 
I heard John McQueen on Rockin' Country 106.7 too! He was on with the Trainwreck one morning last week, then I heard him doing a promo for them.

And I did hear Mark Preston for the first time this morning. He sounds good! Is he gonna be the new PD for the station if it flips? If it does flip, it'd be cool to see if it turns out to be a CHR to take on the B. Maybe it'll take on a more agressive approach than B currently does. I'd hate to see that happen since I grew up with B-97. I grew up with the B, but it's just not the same. I worked there. IMO, every PD they've gotten over there in the past 10 years has been a let-down.

A new station on 92.3 could be the breath of fresh air we need and a wake-up call for the crew at WEZB-97 to open it up a couple of notches.

Although I think New Orleans Feel Good Station is a great slogan, diva has gotta go. I wouldnt mind seeing diva turn into a mix or a star and playing variety something like the old 105.3 the zone before they tried bringing in all that talk crap.
