Away from my hometown and looking at playlists online. Is KCCL (Khits 921) stunting? http://www.tunegenie.com/onair/kccl/

Can't listen online because I am visiting family out of state and they only have dial up service that is very slow.

Is it true? Are we losing our only Oldies station in Sac?????

Go to 921khits.com, listen to the stream. The station sounds like it always does.

What they need to do is get rid of the River Cats. It's a ratings killer.

it looks like the identification of the stop sets (which have always been frequent) are the place holders for the weird songs listed. Since I can only listen on line here in LA. All I hear are the usual tired "old time" commercials and TV show theme songs.


Between Classic 93.1's pure cheapness, lack of localism of any kind and KCCL and their River Cat's games interrupting their oldies juke box all summer, Sacramento get's 75 percent of an oldies station between the two of them.

Online stream is way behind what's on the air. All things must pass even radio stations! If this is what's to come to pass.

There is no on-air stunting being broadcast at this time. The station is the same as always! What are you folks listening to? Certainly not KCCL 92.1 FM.

The wife has it on her car radio....and it sounds the same to me

The station can't play the same spots on line that they play on the web-site do to license restrictions. In order to cover the spot breaks, they play old commercials or short songs to cover the time. When they resume broadcasting the actual on air broadcast they sometimes miss the song opening or join it late. That's what is going on. No stunting.
