Did they just forget about this station? They seem to be playing Henderson's game.
 
That's what I was thinking. It hasn't been on the air in at least a month, and honestly I'm not sure what Alpha's plans are with it or if they still, like, use it you know. LOL

"L&L BROADCASTING has closed on the acquisition of Spanish Sports KHHL (ESPN DEPORTES)/KARNES CITY-SAN ANTONIO from BORDER MEDIA BUSINESS TRUST as part of the larger $31 million deal for the entire BORDER MEDIA/SAN ANTONIO cluster."

I expect they may get it running soon.
 
Maybe they could do espn sport and have the cowboys on. I can't really see the cowboys being on a station like jack fm. How are the ratings while the game is actually on? Most of the time it sounds distorted.
 
I just noticed on radio-locator KHHL status is currently off the air. Wonder if they are planing on doing the upgrade now?
 
From their STA filed a few days ago:

"APPLICANT REQUESTS AUTHORITY FOR KHHL, KARNES CITY, TEXAS, TO REMAIN SILENT FOR 180 DAYS WHILE IT ADDRESSES A VARIETY OF EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS, INCLUDING THE FACT THAT THE STATION'S TRANSMITTER HAS BECOME UNSTABLE AND UNABLE TO OPERATE ON A SUSTAINED BASIS."
