In my opinion Mike Kelly is dry .. he needs to take his behind down south and do radio there... He is no Ken Matthews even tho I didnt like him either. lmao At least he could come up with a new idea besides the 7:10 challenge.. that was there when matthews was there .. isnt it time for something new ??

My favorite jocks on B104 gotta was Scott Lowe and Freddy Fredrick Jr. ... seems scott is gone .. but i still catch freddy on the weekends he has alot of energy and i like that in radio DJs..

1. Ken Matthews had poor ratings for 2 years before he became one of the most successful morning shows the Valley has ever seen. That is not out of the ordinary. These things take time. Clearly, Repti is not the insider he claims to be, otherwise he would have been aware of this.

2. Kramer & Kelly were #2 in the Spring book (to Hawk), with the show's numbers consistently rising over the past months. The show is not trailing to an AM station as Repti suggested.

Kid Kraddick will not be coming to B104. He is too controversial. Also, ur2 is right, the Valley needs LIVE and LOCAL morning shows. The speculation on this site is comparable to a Hollywood tabloid. Don't take it too seriously.

Thanks for the love BPSports.I feel Marybeth still thinks it's the 90's and the harsh reality is that KM has done a "Favre" & will never return to her beloved B104.Does KM want to come back? No.He is a very good morning man & if he wanted to get back into the boat,he would have done it along time ago.

B. #2 in what selectively chosen category u pulled outta your butt???? last time they posted ratings.. K&K were 6th in the over all behind Bobby Gunther's AM morning show. so what am i missing here??? and both cat and hawk smoked them in overall so where are u getting #2 from mr. clear channel?

and please tell your sales people at Clear Channel to stop calling me to advertise... i wouldn't waste my money on your pathetic stations that no one listens to anyways.

The last time they posted ratings? Who is "they"? lol. I prefer to get my information from Arbitron. Adults 18-54.

well then maybe u should look at the actual arbitron ratings.. and look thru a few of the past rankings ... how is it that an outsider has access to more accurate info than u do??? or are u like that other guy that likes to brag about being in 10th cause the station format has only beeen around 2 yrs???

Ok I am new to this web site ....but here it goes ....First off ..Mike Kelly an African American !?!??!?!?!?!?!??! Who knew. I don't really understand a lot of the anger I read on here or most of the comments. I do know a few things about radio. I have met a lot of the jocks in the LHV and I can say most of them are very nice people. I am not really sure where you people get your ratings from but anybody who knows ratings knows you can be #1 in one demo no matter how good or bad you are. I have seen the ratings for the LHV and B104 is still #1 with females in almost ever age range. WLEV is not fairing so well. Cat continues to dominate in both males and females although their last rating showed a little slip. WZZO is not doing as well with men and the Hawk seems to do well no matter who is on the air. I actually do know the reason Ken was let go from B but does it really matter? Whether it was personality clashes, money or maybe a combo of both the bottom line is he is gone from B104. Will he be back? If you asked me this a couple of weeks ago I would have said no way. Then the hawk rehired Michaels and Lane un heard of in radio bizz. So who knows. My question would be why doesn't someone else hire him. There have been many openings in LHV. I probably won't be on here much ( I don't really see the point of it) but for those who use it post on !

Just don't forget life is short try and enjoy it.

I have heard nothing about Kidd coming to anywhere in the Valley. As for jocks being rehired. I said it was rare. I did not say it never happens. As for Ken being let go. You should know they spell their name with a C and a K.
