I've been wondering about this too - the show was her concept so I doubt she'd have been replaced unless she's leaving or about to do something else for the station.
The "Daily 2" thing at the end of the noon newscasts has been repeats for several weeks.
One other thing I noticed - Autumn Sam just introduces herself - she doesn't say she's "in for Kimberley Kennedy" - which is the usual thing people do when subbing.
Wow. That's a shame. I wonder what happened - hopefully we'll find out in time. Kimberley is a beauty and seems like a nice lady (though sometimes a TV persona isn't someone's real personality). WSB is the one station that I think is doing OK in Atlanta, so it probably wasn't just a budget thing - but who knows.
She'd been doing Hot Topics and miscellaneous functions for WSB for 7 or 8 years now - she's become a staple.
I hope she lands somewhere else in Atlanta. I'll miss her.
Well - Heather is certainly a cutie. Makes you wonder if they let Kimberley just go to get someone younger in. Doesn't seem likely since I think she was popular, but it is show biz.
I have my doubts as to whether we will see Kimberley Kennedy on Atlanta TV again. Considering her age and that she is a strong Christian plus the fact that she has experience in running a political campaign-Bush in 2000-it seems to me that a career-change may be a possibility.Perhaps politics or a role in her church/denomination, JMO.
