Is KMYS really becoming CW?

I just heard about this, and saw the promos at a friends house in New Braunfels.... It says at the end of this month, KMYS My 35 will become CW 35. Does anybody know anything about this? What will happen to its MyNetTV affiliation? More importantly, what will happen at KCWX? any info would be great.

From another forum:

Based on what I read in the link above, MyNetwork TV terminated its affiliate agreements with Sinclair stations effective 09/2010. KMYS 35 is to become a CW affiliate at that time.

I noticed KMYS is showing a not-yet-active digital subchannel 35.2 on its website. I wonder what that's going to be? It also doesn't answer the question of what becomes of KCWX 2.1 & 2.2 in San Antonio.

I'm not sure where you see that. I see that it was terminated effective 9/09, and that was extended for a year to 9/10, but then the document only covers up to the beginning of March. My Network TV could have moved to year-to-year agreements, which could have been either renewed or not.

The subchannel is likely The Cool TV, which is coming "real soon now" to almost all Sinclair markets. Whenever that is.

Technically, MyNetworkTV is no longer a network but a package of syndicated prime time shows. BTW-- They're talking about this in the Texas TV forum.
