Is KOOL-FM Safe From A Hi-JACK-ing?

At least there's already a JACK clone in
Phoenix (KX...KP...K...whatever, ex-KKLT),
but with the oldies carnage done today by
the Infinity suits in New York and Chicago,
one never knows!

If there's an Infinity oldies station that
should be blown up, it's KRTH (yes I know,
they already flipped KCBS-FM to JACK).

98.7 SHOULD HAVE USED THE 'JACK' MONIKER TO PROTECT THEMSELF, IMO.

EVEN THOUGH MOST OF THE PHOENIX STATIONS ARE ALREADY PLAYING THE SAME SONGS, INFINITY WOULD SIGN-ON ANOTHER 'CLASSIC HITS' STATION INSTEAD OF TRYING SOMETHING NEW; SUCH AS 'CHILL'.

THE 'WHATEVER WE WANT' IS A NEW WAY TO PRESENT PLAYED-OUT SONGS. IT'S NOT A NEW FORMAT.

I DO ENJOY THE PEAK'S PRESENTATION; AS LONG AS IT'S PLAYLIST CONTINUES TO BROADEN.

No, Dave did not dedicate it to the

BTW, what happened to Dick Bartley's Sat. night show? Now they have Sat. night Disco crap instead!

Gonna have to check this one out...
I loved Jason Garrett's 70s Saturday Night on KVRY.

Some of us still like to "boogie down" once in a while!
