Curious if KPHO is already "see"ing some payback from "See"an yet? And is 12's new set and look making a difference?

Anyone know how the Nielsen numbers are shaping up so far for Nov Sweeps?

How do you like the new lineup with Sean working Sun-Thurs? They really need a co-anchor with Christina on Saturdays as well. After all, this is a major market.

Steve Garry usually does the weather while Sean co-anchors. Not a bad setup IMO. Unlike other weekend weatherguessers they've had, Garry is quite pleasant, articulate, and most importantly, credible. He has a kind of enthusiam that seems genuine, but not overbearing.

And no, I'm not Steve, nor do I know him personally. 8)

Looks to me like the CBS Katie Couric debacle is hurting KPHO (down 0.5) both before and after her evening network newscasts, to the benefit of the other stations. KPHO picks it up at 10 p (up 0.5) when they are away from her and have stronger lead ins. Collateral damage. In my opinion having Couric anchor the CBS news was a really stupid idea.
