Is KTWV smooth AC or smooth jazz

I'm just wondering because they're playing Mary J Blige Be Without You as well as I Am and Usher Making Love into the night, etc.

??? Sound more like a R&B station. But last I heard, it was Smooth AC.

On another note, on (Smooth AC), WSJW in Starview seems to be playing more vocals along with Michael Jackson and other artists in that genre. You have to take a listen to see.

Last Year around this time I've been hearing that KTWV tweaked their sound to more of an Urban AC approach by eliminating their "smooth jazz" Positioner and due to KJLH's semi flip Urban Contemporary.

They shifted to a vocal oriented format last year and have gradually phased out the few instrumentals they did play.. They still do promotions with SJ/CJ artists but rarely play instrumentals

2 of The Wave's recent adds have been instrumental tracks - Boney James "Contact" and Vincent Ingala's "It Is What It Is".

But how many plays per day will they get???
Last played:
In TooDeep - Genesis
"Smooth Operator" -Sade
How Long - Ace
For Once In My Life - Stevie Wonder
100 Ways - Quincy Jones
Stuck On YOu - Lionel Richie
By Your Side - Sade
Ain't No sunshine - B Withers
Dance with my Father- Luther
Layla (acoustic) - Clapton
Do It Again - Steely Dan
This Is It - K. Loggins
Moon Dance -- V Morrison
Sweetest Taboo - Sade
Let's Get It On - M Gaye
