Is KYW's Rewind archivist AWOL?

I enjoy KYW's Rewind with Brandon Brooks. Unfortunately the last installment of Rewind in its on demand archives on cbsphilly.com was Sat. 7/2, and the last previous installment before that was Sat. 6/25.

Has Rewind's archivist been out sick or have family issues?

A music rights issue. Music industry has been cracking down on podcasters, including archives of radio shows that feature incidental/bumper music, so some radio groups are telling stations not to chance it. Will be on-air only.
 
Sometimes Rewind's podcast would skip a day - *just* a day - and return the next day, before the recent pulling of the plug. Was *this* due to the same music rights issues?

No - likely just a vacation or impeded by other work. While not an archive, the CBS Radio News app allows you to play the day's Rewind on demand (it's the national feed, not branded as KYW).
