Is my "Froggyland" math correct?

Being pre-1964 grandfathered FM stations, 104.3 and 104.7 are exempt from the adjacent channel restrictions. If not for other stations that must be protected, you could locate 104.3 on the 104.7 site, and it would be perfectly legal and permitted by the FCC.

I remember hearing that 104.7's big issue over the years as they tried to move it in from New Ken was the airport and issues with aviation frequencies.

as much the proposed location of the tower as much as the frequency. 104.7 does have some harmonic issues with at least one of the approach frequencies at PIT but its a bit of a reach to say that it would cause constant interference or be "a hinderance to navigation."

Drove out to Pittsburgh Mills in a rental. Listened to Sirius 064 playing bluegrass and classic country. However, I put on 104.3 driving out Route 28 and it sounded clear and strong. Is 104.7 still broadcasting from New Ken, cause there was no interference at all.
