Is Odessa/Midland Bigh enough?

Ok the question..... Is Odessa Midland big enough for 4 spanish stations?? U have 107.9,104.7,101.3 and 1230 o yeah and 810 doing spanish christian so how can a market with 100,000 hispanics support so many spanish stations and who will be the first to flip??

According to population figures, the market is 34% Hispanic. It's hard to tell how many stations is "enough" or "too many". Houston at one time had 21 stations that were running Spanish programming. I used to make the arguement that it was too many. However, with so many struggling English formats, I'm sure that some stations/companies are willing to try something different. Also, there are companies out there like Univision, SBS, Liberman, and others who are committed to Spanish Language formats. And although, some of these companies do have English or Hybrid formats, it's still a format geared toward the Hispanic Community.
