One thing worth noticing is that, to this point, Infinity has put JACK-FM on in only Top 20 markets. Other companies (i.e. South Central, Backyard Broadcasting) have licensed it for smaller markets, but to this point the mid-majors have avoided receiving the JACK-FM format from Infinity. But if I had to pick a sub-Top 20 market where Infinity holds stations where it seems likely, Pittsburgh would be at the top of the list. Infinity's ownership of a Hot AC (WZPT) there might complicate things if K-Rock Pittsburgh is the intended destination (though if you limit the gold on WZPT and make it lean Modern AC, a la what WMTX in Tampa does, it could work).

All I know is that after the WCBS-FM flip, anything can happen.<P ID="signature">______________

Hi RoberMoore,
My name is Todd. I live in Pittsburgh. A lot of people on the boards are saying that Jack FM will come to Pittsburgh anywhere betweeen Fri (today) June 10th-July 4. I think that either K Rock or Star will change. It is very interesting that star 100.7 has had three weekends in a row of a whatever weekend from the 80s and 90s. I think this could be a sign of a smokescreen of things to come. I definitely think it is in the works and we should know more very soon. Last year on June 30th, B 94, a 23 year old CHR station changed to K ROCK in favor of Howard Stern in the morning. We only knew about the change a day or two before it happened. So everyone on here is right, anything is possible?

Im interested to see what everyone else is predicting
