Is Pulse 87 NY heading down a familiar road???

I've notice Jewelz attendance to her shift has been pretty spotty these last couple of months, and more recently hasn't been on at all. Although she's still listed as one of the DJ's on the station, I have notice that when another DJ is just filling in for one of the regular DJ's the "on air now" on website still shows the pic of whom ever is supposed to be on. Yet this last week I've notice Borasio's picture has been showing when he's supposed to be "filling in".

Add to that the fact that Andre the Dre Dog hasn't been with the station for quite some time now & is still listed as a station DJ.

When WNYZ-LP/Pulse 87.7fm started having problem the 1st sign of trouble was Jewelz spotty appearances for her shift which eventually ended up with her leaving the station. Followed by other DJs leaving. Now I hear Abel Sanchez who does the afternoon shift is going over to WSPK/K104.7fm, and isn't on air this afternoon either.

Is it the beginning of the end, AGAIN???

anyone has any insight on what's going on? ??? ???

As far as I know, it's being run out of Joel Salkowitz's basement as an Internet station. And I believe but am not certain that all the jocks are voicetracking for free.
Internet stations cost a lot to operate. VIPs (like me) are paying $5 a month to support the station. It's nice to still have it around. Occasionally they do live broadcasts from clubs on Saturday night.

No one is getting paid to do this so in that sense I do give credit to Jewelz, Andre, Abel, and anyone else there for doing this. Internet radio is a hard sell, especially if you're purposely doing this to seek money. I don't see it disappearing at all though. At least you still have the "British Betty" drops! :)
