Is Randi Scott out at KSLX?

She was great, but there are so many great voices on Phoenix radio that have been shoved aside or put out to pasture by "corporate." The first name that comes to mind for me is Tom Peake on KOOL. The heart and soul of that station for decades, and a great guy.

There are others, and yes...that's an invitation to add your favorite "not on the radio anymore in Phoenix" voice to the list.
Tom Peake definitely tops that list.

Just noticed that her Instagram profile no longer includes KSLX. This is a bad decision by station management... and right as they are bringing in a new female afternoon drive DJ. Is it possible they decided they didn't want two female voices in a row?

I suppose that's possible, however, I think KSLX simply didn't want to renew Randi's contract. Of course, that's assuming it was up for renewal--- hard to say.

However it went down, by all accounts, it appears that Randi's exit was not amicable in my opinion. I agree though bradford, it was definitely a bad decision on the station's part. It hasn't been the same since. :(

I sincerely hope Randi knows about this site and has read this thread. Just saying.

Karen Dallesandro, that's the new afternoon drive talent who is coming in. And while it's hard to tell what happened, it's pretty clear it wasn't Randi's choice. I just hope they gave her the news in person. I'm still pretty disgusted by how KISS management fired Lady LA over the phone while she was driving to the studio.

Wow! Lady LA was canned via phone on her way to work?--- Unreal!

Regarding Dallesandro, all we can do is give her a chance. Wishing her the best on her new gig.
