If Regent Townsquare Media hires Ric after ABC then I hope they do for him what they didn't to for Chuck and Kelly and promote the heck out of him.

Ric belongs on Magic or WTRY again anyways. They should have gotten rid of Jay Scott and put Ric in his place. Ric is a legend and an institution in this market while Jay is just some guy.
 
Jay is just a northern radio veteran around the Glens Falls market WENU for years, he made is break south back in 1998 when Fairway communications sold 101.3 The Jockey to Anastos Media group Star 101.3 as Station manager & morning co-host with John Meaney. Jay went through a lull before resurfacing on Albany's Magic 100.9.

My source is telling me Ric may very well be going to the Buzz. He and Robert Ausfeld are friends and they are talking. My guess is Mark Vanness will be given $$ to leave...He's got no ratings...
 
That won't happen... Ric has a rep, tough to work with and who wants to hire that, Not buzz! Time for Ric to look out of the market...

When magic moved to 590, I suggested that 105.7 which is going nowhere adopt a format exactly like magics'. If they did this and Ric became the morning person, the buzz would end up with a well known host, who would probably help in the ratings. A B1 FM signal with better audio quality, versus a 5K/1K AM signal.

Well...I have noticed a few people that are either out of work or are dis-satisfied with their current situation have "friended" R.J.A.....
