Is STICK the new air jock @ KTFM?

I found a place on the net that said Stick was taking a gig somewhere else in days.

Just google stick and the calls and you will find this station

It appears Stick was let go so the station he was at could bring in Clear Channel Major Player....

Wow he is Mr. Excitement. They are paying him very well and they are banking on American Idol a heck of a lot.

But Idol is slipping and what other than that makes Ryan a good anything? He is on for Name Recog and that is all.

Now chew on that.

Even Simon has called him out on PUKING on the air. That is hilarious, but in the end Ryan is laughing all the way to retirement.

Don't know where you're getting your info from, but Stick has not been replaced by Seacrest anywhere. When he left XL106.7 in Orlando after four years there, the station hired a live jock to replace him. Same with his aborted move to WNCI/Columbus.

His old afternoon gig is being filled now by SEACREST.

And SEACREST is on at WNCI also.

There may have been a dude in that chair between.

You're piecing things together extremely incorrectly. Just because Seacrest is on the same station as Stick on the Radio used to be doesn't mean anything. Stop assuming there are ulterior motives here because your facts are way off.

Seacrest's show was plugged into XL106.7 in Orlando in June 2008, a YEAR AND A HALF before Stick on the Radio left -- and Stick was doing NIGHTS at XL106.7, not afternoons. After Stick left, he was replaced by Skillet from Kiss 95.7 in Hartford, who's now going by the air name "Brody."

Seacrest's show was put into the lineup at WNCI in September 2008 -- from noon-3pm. Stick on the Radio was up for the NIGHT gig there, a post that opened up when the PD decided TWO MONTHS AGO not to have Ty Bentli voicetrack the shift out of Kiss 103.5 in Chicago anymore.

I am a Joey Dee fan so it is fruitless.

KTFM is on target tempo wise and music wise and the imaging is much better.

I do think they are waiting toooo long to make any airstaff changes and the momentum will slow because of that.
 
Look, maybe Landis promised Stick a ham sandwich in some sort of lost bet made x amount of years ago and was making good on his promise.

I hope what you say is true cause The Woody Show is flat out BORING!!! Anyone know what the numbers are for The Woody Show?
 
I think Woody can do a good show, the last few books he has dirfted and they talk toooooo much.

It sounds as if he has been told to run and gun and he is.

still does bits but he is breaking them up and keeping the music going....

We must remember there has been a major change in approach. I mean an AC/Alternative station would talk more than a flame throwing CHR and with PPM this is even more important than ever.

The station has had some bright spots, but not enough to keep doing what they were doing.

I think Landis had to water his original idea soooo much no one saw what it was, but because of PPM he kept trying to make it happen.
