Is the answer under their nose?

Listening to 'FYI again tonight with another mundane open mic night on the night shift. Michael Graham, the best of the bunch IMHO, actually has a resume to bring. The rest of them, from Markson to Gale to Terri and her "News Talkers", really aren't exciting anyone. And granted new Sunday talk host and reporter Jim Sharpe may not have too much experience with the hotter brand of talk 550 puts out (vs. the folks on Central), but why isn't he a candidate simply based on his experience doing mornings on a big (albeit weak) station?

Yes, Ms. Chickboss, he left you to go to that crosstown rival, but I don't see why Sharpe isn't capable of a John Ziegleresque evening news/talk show that is doing very well on sister KFI. Perfect? No. But isn't it better than this endless instability and weak performances?

Jim would be my choice.

By the way, anyone notice that KTAR's morning show is starting to drift back into the "some news, some interviews, some Ned chat" direction they were going before they fired Sharpe?

I thought it was going to be an all-News show. Look, if that's what KTAR's headed back to, then bring back Sharpe. Admit your mistake. C'mon, KTAR, are you a news station or not?
