Is the border war over?

Shaughnessy co-hosted the Baseball Show this AM. Could the threat of a new sports station mean that 'EEI has made peace with the Globe? Bob Ryan was always one of my favorites when he was on Ordway's show. He'd be a huge upgrade over some of the co-hosts. I actually used to like CHB when he was on, but I think there's a lot of bad blood between Shaughnessy and Ordway.

Even though he's not on often, Larry Johnson still makes me change the station. I just can't stand the sound of his voice. The more available co-hosts the less likely for them to call him.

i thought they were banned from ordways and the d+c show? not the whole station and with the way the globe is almost gone they are desperate for money after the pay cut. and maybe johnson goes over to the fan 98.5 and they have the mustard and johnson show lol

I think the Comcast broadcast gives CBH cover. As far as I have heard the Globe ban is still operative. BZ-FM will likely be the station of choice for many Globe staffers.

I was trying to think of any potential jumps--part-timers-- to BZ from WEEI. I really couldn't think of any other than DeOssie who I think has a relationship with BZ-TV but that may not mean anything here.
