Is The Brew starting to sprinkle in Grunge and 90s Alternative?

Ive never been a big listener of the station but ive never heard them play anything id consider 90s alternative till recently. On sunday while button punching I heard them play Blind Melon 'No Rain', theyve also played Beastie Boys 'Fight for Your Right', and Pearl Jam's 'Better Man' in the past few days. I dont know if the no-compete agreement is still in place but if they get too carried away they may begin to step on tower mate WRKNs toes.

You do know that "Party" turns 25 years old this year (released 1986).

The song shows up on Yes.com as being played Sunday evening. To my jaded eyes everything else in the hours before and after it looks pretty... classic.

That's the problem with our "The Zema" also. They place the same tied 200 songs over and over again. It's not only imaged all wrong for the actual format, the music is horribly receptive, to the point even those of us in the right age bracket have to tune elsewhere to keep our sanity.
