Is The CBC Blocking "The National" For US Online Viewers?

Video Links for "The National" - full program - no longer appear on the CBC's website. What does appear where the link used to be is a back box stating "This content is not available in your location."

Question is: Why would they want to? It's not a show from some outside provider which has restricted territorial rights. Some of these decisions make no sense. I can see why Al Jazeera blocked AJ English when they started AJ America. But why continue to block it now that AJ America is dead and gone?
What's next? Will they block CBC World Report and The World at Six?

Why not email CBC and ask?

Good idea but at the same time the CBC would probably respond the same way Buffalo's WKBW did back in the late 90s when they started blocking online content to those outside of Western New York. In other words acting as if they didn't know what was going on such as responding with "...WOW...VERY strange !! That is so weird !!" "...beats the hell out of us !!"..even though more than likely WKBW knew exactly what was going on.
