Is the CCRadio-SW Good for DXing?

After my G6 Aviator bit the dust, I bought a CCRadio-SW from C.Crane's site I really don't know the potential of this radio. Can somebody help me out?

The CC Radio SW has slots for EXT antenna AND ground! unlike the aviator. I have the Aviator "Buzz Aldrin" I got as a freebie with purchase of the Grundig Satellit750. I see the CC Radio as being an improvement in AM/MW and I really like the fact the CC Radio has MW external antenna connection too.

The CCRadio SW delivers above average performance on AM with double conversion. The loopstick is only 6 inches long. That's 2 inches shorter than the Sangean PR-D5's and the Superadios'. A Grundig loop can help the SW pull in distant AMs a bit better. I don't have the Grundig Aviator nor the 750.

I love how it distinguished KNX 1070 over IBOC hog KRLD 1080!
