Is the GOOD MONEY on Dave Pratt going to KTAR?

Bruce St. James!

Or as some angry anonymous people called him here, "SBJ."

I am tired of people stealing my guesses!

If I wasn't at Zia Records by the booty bass section on April 17, 2010 I would've been home early enough to make this guess first!

I have it on good authority that the Prattster won't be on either radio or TV. Word on the street is he is the newest investor of Honey Bear's BBQ and is going to take it national.

and just who is this "Honey Bear"?? Sounds like an alias to the Buckeye Boyz!

I heard Pratt was re-designing the KUPD logo (something a bit more genteel and not so gauche this time around) and pushing for the station to go "Green."

Sounds 'bout right...but first he needs to bathe the call letters in pink, as just about everyone is doing something in that color this month. In fact Nurse Jeff and I gave some thought to painting the '76 Gremlin pink, but we thought better of it!

If (more likely when) KFYI migrates to 95.5, CC will likely bring Beck over from KTAR. If CC is going to blow up KYOT for Rush Radio, I can't see them doing it while Beck continues on their chief competitor.

KTAR will be faced with a dilemma. Do they replace Beck in his former midday slot with 3rd rate syndicated programming or are they forced to pony up for a live host.

Same with Ramsey's double play. Does Ramsey get higher numbers at 7 PM or 10 PM? ;)

I have a feeling that Pratt will only do mornings from now on.

I think once a week he will do a live remote from his barbecue party. Kind of a Southwestern Playboy Club, but on radio. We could have Grant Woods talking about tort reform while giving advice on the right kinds of rubs to use, Jan D'Atri will teach us about decorative place mats and doily's and give us a rundown of the state budget. Eddie Matney will be in the kitchen creating wonderful side dishes, and discussing ACCHSS, while Pat McMahon and Brian from Whitfill Nurseries will talk about lawn care, the Wallace & Ladmo show, and those pesky illegal immigrants (bad for the state, but good for your lawn!). Music will be provided by Arizona's official Balladeer Dolan Ellis and Alice Cooper.

Wackiness will ensue when Monty from Kyko and Al, (your tree's pal) discuss homeowner liability when a tree destroys your roof.

And Larry Gaydos..as the Beaver

How about when you fall out of your tree...or your computer's burglarized? ;D
(Did we find out yet what was on Philiberto's hard drive?)
