Is The Ladies Room the WORST show ever?

I happened to catch the Ladies Room recently and have since tuned in intermittently because it is so bad, it is like watching a train wreck. It sounds like a couple of girls doing their first radio gigs. There is just nothing original about the personalities or their topics. And there are obviously technical competence issues, since they can't seem to get the timing right for their bumpers and there is a lot of dead air. What gives? Is this the worst show ever? Is there anyone helping them? Is the Seattle market so bad that this show actually survives?

O Mamma, Where Art Thou? You need to come back and defend your ya ya sisterhood...

Didn't you hear? She's off having a baby...that's all they talk about. And, if possible, the chick filling in for Monti is even worse.

ya ya sisterhood is just fine and boys on a board hardly know anything about radio for women.
I will just let the ratings speak for themselves. T-man beaten and guess who is next? Ya ya good. No need to respond to illeterate comments

Oh, the irony!!

I don't want to call it the worst show ever, but the extreme right-wing vantage points of Frank "I told you so!" Shiers really bummed me out. I was honestly excited that local programming was returning 10 pm - 1 am but any time I tune in it's either
a) "global warming" is man-made lies
or
b) Look at what Bush did to right things, especially in Iraq

Way to change subjects...badly. Are you by chance Sarah Palin's speech writer?

I just wish that one chick would have her sinus surgery (which she or the PD apparently doesn't know she needs). She sounds like she's got a perenially plugged snot locker.

The floating turd called the ladies room is a testement to the owners and the GM Marc Kaye.
they've turned 92.5 into a laughing stock
they've done their best to make their smooth jazz station an elevator jukebox with no content other than promo's
they blew up KIXI, went to music of your life sydication, dropped that, put Dan Murphy back on, put Jim Day on, took him off WTF?
The talk is the people at Warm have nailed the door shut so he can't screw up that station!

AND HE STILL HAS A JOB!

Sandusky's motto should be we're making our radio stations as relevant as our newspapers

But isn't Sandusky the one operator in this market making money?

Show me the money!

Bingo! Plus look at MOViN's Numbers! They Beat KUBE in just about every demo they target

Excellent point. KQMV in average rating is well ahead of KUBE on the six book PPM average and since it costs little to run is probably a great ROI for Sandusky. KWJZ and KIXI are virtually automation right now so the ROI is nice too. KRWM is the number four billing station in the market behind KMPS, KPLZ and KIRO-FM in the Sept M/K. They have much lower cost of operation than KMPS, KPLZ or KIRO so I would guess they have the highest profit margin of any group in Seattle. Add to that they are privately owned and have long paid off their debt on the stations and I can't see any reason Sandusky would change any of their stations. Bonneville is in a similar situation. KTTH is automated and the top rated spoken word station in the market, KIRO-FM is well ahead of KOMO in ratings and is number three in billing and could be number one this month. KIRO-AM is the only question mark, but if they just simulcast the FM, except during Mariner games, Bonneville would have an ROI that challenges Sandusky. Plus Bonneville owes nothing on the station group since it was a swap.

FM Steve is right. Sandusky and Bonneville won't be changing anything, anytime soon.

I am so glad someone other than me realizes that Brooke Fox has a face for radio and a voice for....nowhere. She sounds like she is sick every day. Moreover, she is an idiot who can't pronounce things to save her life, and doesn't know crap about pop culture...notably, she reports on "gossip" several times a day. She has recently spent a lot of time reporting on Lamar ODEN and thinks that getting an animal fixed means that they undergo a sex change. Sadly, she doesn't embrace her stupidity and make a schtick out of it...

Sandusky could have an even better ROI if they trimmed the fat off of Movin. They actually have a producer on the morning show, which shocked the crap out of me...there is no reason to pay someone to do nothing.

Bob Rivers has a bigger on air/production team than some stand alone radio stations have total employees. And THIS shocks you?

Not sure who Ashley is, but I wouldn't count on that gig for long.
